Climber

Ladies and Gentleman we have a climber! Two weeks ago Annie realized that she could get up onto the couch by herself by throwing her leg up (to her ears) and lifting herself up. Its quite a funny thing to watch.
Yesterday I found Annie on the dining room table playing with the salt and pepper shakers! I am glad there wasn't much on the table because she had pulled the tablecloth off in the process!
I also found her on the entryway bench reaching for my keys on the hook.
This morning I found her in her toy basket and then standing in a baby jumper at church!
I told Joe at lunch that we were in trouble...

Then I put her down for a nap and was folding laundry and doing things on the computer all the while listening to her jabber in the monitor. About 45 min later I heard her grunting so I went up a few minuets later to change her diaper and upon arriving upstairs found her door open and her bed empty!!! My heart dropped into my toes until I rationally realized that I was just hearing her in the monitor! I called her name and out she ran from my room down the hall!
Kelly stopped at home at that moment so we put her back in her bed and asked her how she got out. She threw her leg up (to her ears) over the rail and lifted herself out of bed!!!

Now I know that she is not the first baby to learn to get out of bed, but come on! Have you seen how short and tiny this little thing is? Just yesterday I had someone ask me again if she could walk yet! She is not supposed to be able to do these things!

So after her getting out 2 more times I decided to pull out the old flannel baby sleeper that she zips into so that she cant get out of bed! She screamed her head off mad at me but quickly fell asleep :o)
Haha, outwitted by Mom (until she finds the zipper)!
