I just wanted to remember this conversation that happened in the car today

Annie playing with a elf doll that she calls "shelf"

Annie: "Mama Shelf sleepy" "Shelf needs bwankwet"
I dig around in the diaper bag and hand her my nursing cover "here's a blanket for Shelf"

a minute later
"I feeding Shelf Mama" I look back to see her with the nursing cover properly draped around her shoulders and her nursing her elf and just smile... she has never done that before.

"Mama Shelf Stinks!" "Shelf potty Mama" "Shelf potty cause he's a big girl... a big kid..."
